My client is a leader in the Australian market, specialising in commercial furniture and corporate fit-outs. They bring together Design, Manufacturing and Delivery expertise to deliver value to all stakeholders.
Due to internal growth they have an exciting and rare opportunity available for a highly capable and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Osborne Park.
You will play a key role within the Warehouse division and be responsible for overseeing the warehouse to insure smooth running on a daily basis, along with supervising a small team.
Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 7am - 3.30pm.
Key Duties:
- Organise warehouse
- Manage inwards & outwards goods
- Manage clerical requirements of warehouse
- Unload containers imports & freight ex east - 40ft
- Load vehicles for shipment to site
- Delivery of goods to site
- Assembly of furniture - using basic electrical tools
- Supervise & organise 2 warehouse staff
Required Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrate maturity & the ability to take on responsibility
- At least 4 years' experience working in a warehouse environment
- Excellent organisation & multitasking skills
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Well presented with a positive attitude
- Must have C Class Manual license
- Ability to supervise & organise staff
- Problem solving capabilities
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic tools
- Able to work without direct supervision
